Indoor ceremony space
The architecture features original beams and a soaring ceiling with chandeliers, twinkle lights and drapery that helps create that romantic barn wedding feel that so many couples look to achieve. The seating capacity is 200 which makes Barn + Bliss the perfect destination whether you are planning an intimate celebration or hosting a larger wedding ceremony!
Hillside ceremony area
The hillside ceremony area is a stunning element of our wedding venue. It’s the perfect space for an intimate, outdoor ceremony, located right behind the barn. This dreamy ceremony area is surrounded by farm fields (i.e. canola, wheat, soya) and natural greenery. The rustic arbour can be left in its natural state or decorated to suit your personal taste and style!
The reception hall features original beams, restored wagon wheel chandeliers, twinkle lights that add a sparkle to every corner of the venue. White drapery softens the space perfectly and completes the elegant space perfectly for any wedding. This space is completely accessible and can accommodate larger weddings of up to 300 guests for a seated dinner. On this level, you will find a large u-shaped bar made of live edge slabs and tin from the original barn roof perfect for gathering around and conversing at. The fully plumbed and operational washrooms can also be found on this level.
Reception Hall
Cocktail Lounge
We’ve got an elegant barn full of space for your guests to enjoy! The cocktail lounge is a loft area that overlooks the main reception area and dance floor. This space and provides a bird’s eye view of your whole event. It offers a comfortable lounge seating area, an additional spot for great photos, a secondary bar, intimate dim lighting and is perfectly staged (no need to decorate this area) to match with most wedding themes. Wedding guests enjoy this area as it allows them to remove themselves from the party and to catch up with family members or friends that they haven't seen in a while.
Bar
A cold beverage is never far for your guests with two fully functional bars inside the venue. The lower bar area has recently undergone a massive transformation; now centered in the barn, and u-shaped allowing guests to gather around and converse. The bar top is made of live edge slabs, restored tin, original barn beams and perfectly light by a custom rustic/industrial chandelier.
bunkie
The newly built rustic bunkie is the perfect escape for our couples or for their immediate family members to escape to. Inside, you will find a kitchenette stocked with small appliances (i.e. coffee maker, hot plate, mini fridge) perfect to prepare a "morning after" breakfast. We stock the mini fridge with mimosas and other breakfast items for your comfort.
